Shatha Puranam
Smt. Lakshmi Nrisimha Vidyamandir’s Shatha Puranam of Visishtadvaita philosophy published by Bhagavad Ramanuja Sampradaya.
Srimad Andavan Ashrama (SAA) conducts 300 years of Samasryanam (Bharyar Samskaras) in Tamilnadu, Bharatyar, Kalaashepa (higher spiritual lessons – Vedha & Western) without any distinction of caste or creed.
The Head of the institution Srimad Naduvan or Andavan Swamigal in Tamilnadu and USA and Lord Ranganatha temples for Patsa Seva. Ashrama also runs Arts & Science College in Tirunelveli. Main symbol of worship and central theme of Institution’s philosophical approach is Lord Ranganatha’s Padukas.
1986, around the country in 1976, Ramanuja Maha Desikan (69) moved to Mumbai and ordained establishing a branch Asramam at Mumbai or suburb and thus began on 2-acre plot, SAA.
On 20.01.1983, with the blessings of HH Srimad Thirukkudanthai Andavan and the team of eminent persons led by (Late) Sri V.K. Srinivasa Iyengar, Jeeyar, Mshtabdhana (the next) Srimad Gopala Desika Maha Desikan, charmed by the beauty of Sri Balaji, wrote a beautiful poem – Sri Srinivasa.
On 26.01.2001, in the Rajagopuram and with the renovated Sanakthi of Sriman Ananthan Balaji (the 11th) Seer Jeeyar Natham Sannidhanam Yoga Kshetram was Sri Rama Silakshman Hanuman and Sri Navagragam constructed and H.H. established new Asramas at Maha Dwadasee and Vedha patasala at Aarahanam Asram, where Smt. Lakshmi Devi Veda is taught. Do maha veedhi Asramam during Utsava running Simha Garbha Desikan had special affection towards cows and established a big Gosala. (During HH used to feed the cows with Holy Padha Theertham).
On 26.01.2015, with the guidance of Srimushanandavan, the third Maha Samprokshanam was performed.
And the Tarkam (Srimad Vyashtadvaita Vedantha Desikan), a scholar (with traditional doctoral-equivalent in Nyaya (roughly translated as Absolute Righteousness).
At SAA Sri Balaji Mandir, Domibivli, Thiruvardhanam is done based on Panchardra Agama Viddhi Timings are:
- 7.30 to 8.30 am | Thiruvardhanam
- 5.00 to 7.45 pm | Thiruvardhanam
- 8.00 to 11.00 am | Uchika Satrumai (Bhog)
- 9.00 pm | Sayanam
Timings on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays will be 6.30 am to 1 noon and during Dhanu r masam (4 pm to 9.30 pm).
Ardhitha Utsavams: On behalf of devotees Kalyan (Vivah) Utsavam, Sri Budhan Homam & Thirumanjanam (Abhishekam), Sahastranama Archana and Neivodaya Ashtotra Archana in our kitchen can only be offered. Coconut, Fruits, Sugar candy and dry fruits are accepted for Sevas.
Annadhanotsavam: Performed every year on the day of Pushya Nakshatram during Vaikunta Ekadasi in the evening Utsavam.
Pravritotsavam, Thayan Utsavam, Navaratri-is-performed, every year during Yatra of His Holiness Srimad Andavan Desikan.
There are 2 Mandaps on ceremony side where devotees can expect Utsava Kayas.
Thirumanjanam (abhishekam) – is done on Brahmotsavam, Pavithrotsavam after Utsavam days and also on the following Nakshtram (star days) every month:

Devotees are welcome to participate Thiruvardhnam (abhishekam) performed with Devalapar Sri Balaji and Arjitha Sevas on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays and during Utsava days. If above Thirumanjanams (abhishekam) performed with Devotees important Balaji and Arjitha Sevas, on Fridays they can sponsor and Trupadi Kalyana Mandapam (Hall) – Devotees can book the fully airconditioned – Ground plus three storey Hall, which can accommodate floating 400 plus people and having a separate Dining area & roorms, for marriages, functions etc.
One day Utsavam – Devotees desirous of sponsoring Thirumanjanam, Archana or used for Sevas during their Birthdays or important days can enrol themselves.
Please offer your Kanikkais (donations) in donation box only. Cheques / DD should be drawn favouring Srirangam Srimad Andavan Asramam or SAA.
