Temple Story
The Divine Resolve (1976)
The history of Dombivli was rewritten in 1976 when the legendary HH Srimad Thirukudanthai Andavan first graced this town. It was not a mere visit; it was the beginning of a spiritual metamorphosis. Moved by the pure religious fervor of the local devotees, His Holiness envisioned a sanctuary that would mirror the sanctity of Srirangam and Tirumala. It is said that Thiruvenkatamudayan Himself appeared in the Acharya’s dream, expressing a divine desire to reside in Dombivli. To manifest this vision, HH appointed a dedicated committee to undertake this monumental task.
A Cultural Mahayagnya & Fundraising
The fundraising for the temple was a unique cultural movement that united the Marathi and Tamil communities:

The First Samprokshanam (January 28, 1983)
On this day, the divine energy was invoked under the ritual expertise of Shri Gopu Bhattar. The quiet village of Dombivli was officially elevated to the status of Paschim Thirupathi.
The Architectural Evolution (1987–1996)
